We are excited to offer summer camps this year that will have dancers moving and grooving in exciting ways!..
3 Year Olds, 4 Year Olds, and Kindergarten
Dancers explore the fundamentals of dance in a fun and engaging way. Ballet and tap are the focused styles of dance for these age groups. All dancers are required to purchase two costumes and perform two routines in our annual recital that takes place in May of every year.
First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, and Fourth Grade
Dancers build upon their foundation of dance and continue to strengthen their technique in creative ways. Appropriate dance skills are taught at each grade level in addition to strength exercises to enhance dance ability. Dancers begin to explore additional dance styles which include, but are not limited to, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap. All dancers are required to purchase two costumes and perform two routines in our annual recital that takes place in May of every year.
Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Seventh Grade, Eighth Grade, and Ninth Grade (Drill Team Prep)
Dancers begin to explore the components of drill team by learning additional dance styles and more complex technique in addition to strength and conditioning exercises to increase their skill level. Dance styles of these grade levels include, but are not limited to, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Pom, Hoop, Military, and Kick. All dancers are required to purchase two costumes and perform two routines in our annual recital that takes place in May of every year.
Fifth Grade through Ninth Grade dancers are also eligible to sign up for an additional thirty minute pointe class where they learn the fundamentals of pointe. Pointe dancers require one additional costume and will participate in one additional dance at the recital.
Tuition
Effective June 1, 2024: Non Refundable Registration Fee: $50 upon registration.
1 Hour Recreational Class: $65/month.
Each additional sibling gets 20% off tuition.
Dress Code
Recreational dancers are welcomed to wear any color or design of dance wear as long as it is appropriate for dancing and does not limit movement. No blue jean shorts, blue jean pants, or excessive jewelry. We ask that all dancers wear their hair up. Most little ones enjoy wearing leotards. We kindly ask that all 3 and 4 year old dancers wear tights weekly. We have found that this not only makes their shoes much easier to switch out, it also adds to the comfort of the dance shoes. Older dancers are welcome to wear spandex pants, gym shorts and T-shirts or tank tops. Dance Pizzazz T-shirts will be available to purchase before classes begin. 3 year olds through Kindergarten will need pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. First Grade through Fourth Grade will need black jazz shoes and black tap shoes. Fifth grade and up will only need black jazz shoes.
